1. Who you're contracting with

These Terms govern your use of the Ross & Associates Tax Academy online education platform (the "Service"), operated by Ross & Associates Tax Office ("Ross & Associates", "we", "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a membership you agree to these Terms.

2. The service

The Service provides online tax education content, certifications, software training, downloads, community access, and (at certain tiers) mentorship and coaching. Content is delivered through our website and student dashboard.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: unlawful activity, fraud or spam, infringing third-party intellectual property, sharing your account credentials, scraping, distributing malware, attempting to circumvent security or technical limits, or reselling/redistributing course content.

4. Intellectual property

All course materials, videos, downloads, software, and branding are owned by Ross & Associates and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the materials within your active membership for personal educational use only.

5. Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

6. Payment, billing, and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, refunds, and cancellations are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.

Memberships renew automatically (monthly or annually) until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account or via paddle.net.

7. No professional advice

The Service is for educational purposes only and does not constitute tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. You are responsible for your own professional decisions and for complying with all applicable laws and IRS regulations.

8. Service level

We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated policy violations.

10. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Ross & Associates against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Ross & Associates Tax Office is registered.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updates here and notify active members of material changes.
