Nature of Our Certificates
Certificates issued by Ross & Associates Tax Academy are private certificates of completion and professional development. They reflect that a student has completed a specific Academy course and passed the associated assessment. They do not constitute a federal, state, or government-issued credential, license, or registration.
Not an IRS Credential
Our certificates are not issued, endorsed, or recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). They do not grant Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN), Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN), Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA, or any other regulated designation. Students seeking IRS credentials must apply through the appropriate IRS programs.
No Guarantee of Employment or Outcome
Holding an Academy certificate does not guarantee employment, business success, client acquisition, or any specific income result. Outcomes depend entirely on the individual student's effort, market conditions, and professional execution.
Verification
Each certificate carries a unique serial number tracked by the Academy. Recipients and third parties may verify a certificate's authenticity through the Academy's verification system.
Revocation
The Academy reserves the right to revoke any certificate found to have been issued through error, fraud, identity misrepresentation, or violation of the Student Agreement.
Continuing Education
Unless explicitly stated for a specific course, Academy certificates do not satisfy IRS Continuing Education (CE), state Board, or other regulatory continuing education requirements.
